Firno Fashion Privacy File

Firno Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Firno handles information when adults create outfit files, upload clothing images, build color stories, save style preferences, share fashion content, use safety tools, and purchase optional digital features.

1. Overview and Scope

Firno ("Firno," "we," "us," or "our") provides a fashion and outfit styling app for organizing clothing ideas, creating look files, storing wardrobe notes, comparing outfit combinations, sharing user-generated fashion content, reviewing reports, and accessing optional paid digital features (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy applies to the Firno mobile app, account features, style boards, closet records, outfit images, community tools, safety features, analytics, support, purchase-related records, and any service that links to this Privacy Policy.

If you have questions, privacy requests, UGC reports, or safety concerns, contact us at Firno@firnous.com.

This Privacy Policy is written for transparency and App Store submission support. It should be reviewed against Firno's actual technical implementation, jurisdictions, service providers, and business practices before publication.

2. Adults Only: 18 Years and Older

Firno is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. By using Firno, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may delete the account, remove content, cancel access where appropriate, and delete related information unless retention is required for safety, legal, or enforcement purposes.

If you believe someone under 18 has provided information to Firno, contact Firno@firnous.com.

We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

4. Outfit Files, Body-Adjacent Notes, and Style Records

Firno may let you record fashion details that can feel personal, such as fit preferences, clothing sizes, body-neutral notes about comfort, event outfits, workwear planning, cultural clothing references, or photos that show your face, body, home, workplace, or other people. You choose what to upload or enter.

Please do not upload government IDs, payment card numbers, private addresses, medical records, intimate images, images of minors, or information you are not comfortable storing or sharing. If you post content publicly or share a board, other users may view it depending on the feature and settings.

Firno is a fashion organization and inspiration tool. It is not a medical, mental health, employment, legal, financial, or professional styling service. You remain responsible for your clothing purchases, workplace dress compliance, cultural context, event suitability, budget decisions, and personal safety.

5. User-Generated Content, Reports, and Moderation

Firno may include user-generated content ("UGC") features such as style boards, outfit galleries, comments, public profiles, look feedback, shared inspirations, reports, and community discussions. UGC may be visible to other users depending on the feature and your settings.

Zero tolerance commitment: Firno does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. We may remove content, restrict visibility, disable features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or report unlawful activity where appropriate.

Firno prohibits pornography, explicit sexual content, sexual solicitation, sexual exploitation, content intended to disturb or disgust, graphic violence, humiliation, gambling promotion, betting, illegal drug promotion, drug abuse instructions, political discrimination, harassment based on political belief, hate, threats, bullying, doxxing, impersonation, scams, spam, self-harm encouragement, dangerous body-shaming, discriminatory attacks, or content that violates law or the rights of others.

We may use automated tools, keyword filters, image review, human review, report queues, account signals, and other moderation processes to detect and reduce objectionable material and abusive behavior. Reports may include usernames, content copies, screenshots, timestamps, reasons, account identifiers, device or usage signals, review decisions, and appeal records.

Users may report objectionable content or abusive users through in-app tools where available or by emailing Firno@firnous.com. Where available, users may also block abusive users. We aim to respond to safety concerns in a timely manner, prioritizing sexual exploitation, threats, severe harassment, illegal content, and urgent safety risks.

  • Business transfers: information may be transferred during a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell private outfit notes or private closet files as standalone data files. If applicable law treats certain advertising or analytics activities as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising," you may have opt-out rights.

11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have rights to withdraw consent, opt out of certain advertising uses, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can make a request by emailing Firno@firnous.com. We may verify your identity before responding. Some information may be retained where necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, purchase records, moderation records, or enforcement of our terms.

You can manage certain app information directly in Firno, such as profile details, uploaded content, outfit files, notification preferences, and device permissions. App Store subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Firno, maintain accounts, deliver purchases, moderate UGC, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by information type, feature, account status, and legal need.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and reviewing what you share publicly.

Firno may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized mechanisms.

13. Children, Minors, and Sensitive Images

Firno is not directed to anyone under 18. Users must not post sexualized, exploitative, humiliating, unsafe, or privacy-invasive images of minors. Users must not post private information about minors, schools, family locations, or other people without proper rights and consent. We may remove such content and restrict accounts.
